Hi, I’m Dawn, or as my family in Italy call me, Alba.  I’ll answer to either!

In childhood I was a wild animal–swimming in the river, riding my horse everywhere and jumping everything in my path.

The period that most influenced my decision to become a photographer/videographer was while living in the A-Frame (no electricity) home my dad built.  I call those the ‘lean-food’ years.  When we were really hungry and had nothing to eat, my mom would pull out the Betty Crocker cookbook and we would pretend to dine on the scrumptious pictures of food–pot roast (always my favorite), followed by apple pie and cake.  Now that’s the power of a picture.
